Use of ALTHOUGH
‘Although’ is used as a subordinating conjunction: Used to introduce a subordinate clause that contrasts with the main clause. It expresses a concession or contrast.
Examples:
- Beginning a sentence:
- “Although it was raining, we decided to go for a walk.”
- “Although she was tired, she continued to work.”
- Middle of a sentence:
- “He went to the party, although he wasn’t feeling well.”
- “The food was delicious, although a bit spicy.”
This is the reason with ‘although’ no other conjunction should be used.
