IMBALANCE? DISBALANCE? UNBALANCE?
The pandemic throws the life out of gear. The huge retrenchment made the domestic budget unbalanced. The growing imbalance in between rich and poor is widening. Perhaps this traumatic phase may throw many personalities into disbalance( Imbalance).
MEANING-
IMBALANCE– Lack of balance. For example- (1)There is a racial imbalance. (2) Her depression is caused by a chemical imbalance….
DISBALANCE-This word is not in vogue. Although according to OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY—it means disturb the balance or equilibrium. Or put out of balance. Its derived adjective is –Disbalanced( Imbalance).
UNBALANCE – To put out of balance.
For example- If too many people stand up , it will unbalance the boat.
