      Find the differences among- AWAKE- AWAKEN- WAKE- WAKEN !!!

      TOUGH???

      Read on to find the difference

      The confusion on your face is palpable. But hold on- there is nothing to confuse. Simply follow it minutely-

      1) AWAKE– Adjective- Not sleeping.
      e.g. I find it so difficult to stay awake.

      2) AWAKE– verb ( AWOKE/ AWOKEN )- to make someone stop sleeping.
      e.g. – I awoke at seven o’clock

      3) AWAKEN – VERB (AWAKENED)
      e.g They were awakened by the sound of gunfire.

      4) Wake– Verb ( Woke/ woken) – become conscious.
      e. g. – Please wake me early tomorrow.

      5) WAKEN – VERB – ( WAKENED/ WAKENING) – wake from sleep.
      e.g- I shook him but he did not waken .

      Note– Those who want to appear for competitive exam and long to improve their English, it’s a great opportunity for them !!!
